The following devices are necessary to be able to open a channel with 4:2:2 codec:
- Make sure your Set Top Box/Receiver support web server for stream 4:2:2 codec (I Use Enigma 2 Dreambox 800 HD)
- Router can use Wi-fi or LAN/Ethernet Cable
- PC/Laptop or Smartphone
- VLC Player
How To Connect:
- Turn On your Set Top Box/Receiver
- Turn On your Router
- Turn On your VLC Player
- Linking your Set Top Box/Receiver or Smartphone with Router use Wi-fi or Ethernet/LAN Cable (No Need Internet Connection)
- See and note IP Address on Set Top Box/Receiver in Menu - Network setting example your IP Address: 192.168.1.100
- Open Web Browser on PC/laptop or smartphone, you can use Chrome Firefox or etc
- Input the IP Address noted above on Web Browser
- After appearing a web server/webif in the browser, select the channel using the codec 4.2.2 by pressing logo TV (stream) on the left side
- If you are using a smartphone, the channel will open directly through VLC Player
- If you are using a PC/Laptop, channel will be downloaded, select the file channel downloaded earlier and then open using VLC Player.
